UpgradeThe Northern Maternal Child Network (NMCN) aims to create an integrated system of care by transforming the delivery of care, and outcomes, across the maternal-child health continuum of the Northern Region. _
The NMCN is connected and informed at regional and provincial levels with strong relationships with the Ministry of Health (MOH), Ontario Health, Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health (PCMCH),
Better Outcomes Registry and Network (BORN), regional networks, hospitals, health service providers, community partners, patients and families.
The NMCN has developed an inventory of resources and evidence-based guidelines to support maternal, newborn, and pediatric care. The NMCN seeks to facilitate collaborative implementation of guidelines across the region.
The NMCN is dedicated to ensuring Northern stakeholders are aware of upcoming educational opportunities and events. Check our events calendar regularly.
The Northern Maternal Child Network recognizes that its work, and the work if its community partners takes place on traditional Indigenous territories. We are thankful to be able to work and live in these territories. We recognize the contributions that the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit people make in shaping and strengthening the region, province, and country. The NMCN is honoured to collaborate with Indigenous clients, partners, and communities.
HELP US MAKE SURE WE GET IT RIGHT! We are developing a Strategic Plan to help guide our work for the next five years.
