This interactive module explores the historical and systemic factors that shape perinatal mental healthcare for African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) birthing communities. Drawing on historical contexts, contemporary studies, and critical frameworks, learners will examine how racism and structural inequities within healthcare contribute to disparities in mental health outcomes and access to support for Black birthing people.
