From Barriers to Breakthroughs: Implementing the ESC Model of Care for Families Affected by Substance Use Disorder

May 26, 2026

Zoom

This webinar will offer an updated conceptualization of the Eat Sleep Console (ESC) model of care, drawing on a 2025 scoping review and a mixed-methods study of implementation fidelity. Building on this foundation, we will examine key barriers to address and facilitators to leverage for effective implementation.

Objectives:

  • Learners will be able to describe the four core components of the ESC model of care, and how those core components are interconnected in implementation
  • Learners will list potential barriers that may challenge implementation of the ESC model
  • Learners will list potential facilitators that could be leveraged in the implementation of the ESC model

Presenter: Dr. Maddie Gallant
